Steps to Unlock Android Pattern Without Losing Data:

• Download and install Android SDK Tools for run ADB commands. Now select platform according to you download and install it.

• After installing open it, uncheck the other packages and check Android SDK Platform-tools and then click on install packages according to the image given below.

So the other requirement is USB Debugging should be enabled before your android device locked.

Note:  The process will not be helpful if you don’t have specific and compatible drivers for your phone. So you should be very careful While installing your device compatible drivers.

Steps To Unlock Android Pattern Lock Without Formatting/Losing Data:

• Connect your locked android phone with your system via USB.

• Open folder where you installed Android SDK Tools Users > App Data > Local > Android > Android-SDK > Platform-Tools and then click on blank space hold shift and click right mouse button and select open command window here.

To check whether your device is properly connected or not put command:-

adb devices

Now put these commands:-

adb shell
cd /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases
sqlite3 settings.db

.quit

If above commands don’t works put:-

adb shell rm /data/system/gesture.key

4. Once you done you have to reboot your android phone. Now it’s all done.

Note: USB Debugging should be enabled before locked and it is the must. But If it is not enabled then you cannot proceed further steps

How to hide messages on iPhone in WhatsApp

The method is updated for latest WhatsApp iOS version – 2.16.6. Screenshots too are taken from the same version.

Tap on WhatsApp application in Main Menu.
On the chat screen swipe left for the contact whose chat you desire to hide
Select Archive

On selecting Archive the conversation of the contact or group you selected will be removed/hidden from the main chat screen which appears when you open WhatsApp.
The conversation you archived is moved to Archived Chats folder which can be viewed by swiping up on the main chat screen where the chats of all contacts are listed.

You can also hide group chat by following the similar procedure for your groups in WhatsApp. To view the chat you hide or archive select Archived Chats and you will be able to view the chat of the contact or group which you hide. Show the hidden chat – Undo Archive in iOS

How to hide message on Android in WhatsApp

For example, in Android, you need to long press on the chat of the contact to get Archive option(marked with Red) rather than swiping left as in the case of iOS.

Unarchive WhatsApp chat in Android

1. Scroll to the bottom of WhatsApp chats screen where all the conversations are shown. Select Archived Chats.

2. All the archived chats will be shown. Long tap on the conversation of the contact whom you want to unarchive and select the Unarchive icon at the top(second from right) as shown in the image below.
After this, the chat will be again shown on the main screen along with other chats.

Recover Deleted WhatsApp Messages in Android
